Ceiling Grids
Technical Air Products manufactures various types of cleanroom ceiling grids, from our standard self-supported ceiling grid, to our heavy-duty 2″ suspended ceiling grid. All of our ceiling grid products are made from extruded aluminum components, so they are light weight. All components utilize slotted square nuts, and/or a threaded boss for quick and easy installation. We can provide ceiling grid components cut to size to match your ceiling layout, or we can provide full lengths to be cut on site.
Self Supported Ceiling Grid
Our standard ceiling grid, which we use for all of our cleanrooms, consists of 2″x4″ aluminum extrusion perimeter and cross-supports, and 1.5″ cross tees, all supported by either aluminum legs, or steel posts, depending on the height/weight of the room. Our 2″x4″ aluminum extrusion is slotted for the use of threaded square nuts, and utilizes continuous threaded bosses, eliminating the need for drilling holes, and making installation a snap. Standard ceiling grid components are not walkable. Walkable aluminum panels, and heavy-duty cross tees can be integrated into the self-supported ceiling system if there is a requirement to support the weight of maintenance personnel.

Hanging Ceiling Grid
We offer our 2″ aluminum ceiling grid system for any hanging ceiling applications. Our 2″ grid components are much more robust than standard ceiling grid components, in order to support the added weight of cleanroom fan filter units and lights. We use heavy-duty turnbuckles and steel rod to hang our 2″ ceiling grid, and each of our 2″ grid components uses a continuous threaded boss for quick and easy installation. Hanging ceiling grid components are not walkable.

- Zinc plated steel 2, 3, and 4-way grid connectors
